Greg Navratil Portfolios

This painting is the first in my "Dumpster with a View" series. In this all-overpainting, the surface is covered from edge to edge and from corner to corner. Your eyes are invited to wander the panel everywhere, to follow the lines shapes, and values. Each area of the composition is given equal attention and signifigance. The colors are applied with paint dispensers in thick layers. On the finished work, an interference violet was trowelled over the surface giving the work a violescence and luminescence.
